Hello Darlings!
When it comes to inspiration for holiday parties Pinterest
is the
place to look. In honor of the Fourth of July, I’ve recreated three of my
favorite red, white, and blue dishes from my online pinboard!
1. You can’t really get any simpler than a watermelon and a
cookie cutter, but the result is delicious and festive! Original link

Just stamp out stars with a cookie cutter. Use the extra to make these cocktails! |
2. These sweet little two-bite cherry pies are the perfect finger-food
dessert for a patriotic shindig. The original recipe calls for premade piecrust
and cherry pie filling but I prefer the taste of homemade so I used this
piecrust recipe and the cherries from Jerry James Stone’s Cherry and Red Wine Cobbler.
Easily pit cherries by placing them on top of a bottle and pressing pit out witha straw of chopstick! |

3. There is something so childlike and whimsical about
strawberries dipped in white chocolate and sprinkles that I gravitate toward
them on the treats table every time! They are also super simple to make and can
be thrown together last minute!
Dip the strawberries in melted white chocolate |
Then dip the chocolate in blue sprinkles! |
