Hello Darlings!
I was one of those kids that made very detailed lists of
what I wanted for Christmas. I scoured catalogs (usually the American Girl doll
one) and circled and cut out the pictures of items that I wanted. Apparently I
haven’t changed much. I still love making wishlists of things I love –one of
the reasons I am rather addicted to Pinterest- and I realized that my actually
corkboard of wishlist clippings was made up of healthy living items. With my birthday
being tomorrow I thought it might be fun to share a few of the items from my
board!
1. A Sweaty Bands headband. I fell in love with these when I
saw them over on Marissa from Barefoot Colorado’s blog. Non-slip headbands in
cute colors made for girls with manes of hair? I’m sold.
2. A Le Creuset Rectangular Skinny Grill. I love grilling
and the taste of grilled food. (Peaches, pears, and romaine anyone?) However, I
happen to live in a small one bedroom with a tiny little porch, a space not
exactly conducive to having a free-standing grill. In comes the cast iron
skinny grill you can use on the stove!
3. Merrell Moab Mid Ventilator Hiking Boots. On the East
Coast I never really had any need for hiking boots- the “mountains” were more
of just very tall hills. Moving to Colorado on the other hand? Those are some
mountains! I’ve been told the fourteeners are so much fun to climb, but hiking
boots are a necessity!
4. Pottery Barn Elephant Salt and Pepper Shakers. No
wishlist of mine is complete without a set of salt and pepper shakers. I love
them! I have an absurd amount of them but always find a cute pair, seriously,
elephants!? Yes, please.
5. Williams-Sonoma Oyster Mushroom Log. This is just cool. I
grow my own fresh herbs out on my porch, so why not mushrooms? I’ve seen
mushroom growing kits that come out of cardboard boxes, but an actual log is
such a fun statement piece!
6-8. Ellie Workout Tops. I blame Heather from Better With
Veggies for this one. I am always lusting over her workout outfits and it turns
out quite a few of the tops (and bottoms for that matter) are from Ellie. 6- Supernova Tank 7- Wish Upon A Star Tank 8- Rise and Shine Tank - Ellie also has
a monthly program that you can get any two Ellie items for 50$ which is such a
great deal!
