When it comes to healthy living, nutrition is key.
Convenient access to fresh, affordable produce, whole grains, organic staples,
and healthy treats can really make all the difference when striving to live a
healthier lifestyle. Sprouts Farmers Market is one of those (healthy chain)
stores that makes it easy to grab everything you need in one place without
breaking the bank or your healthy diet.
So, when I heard about the new Sprouts store opening in
Denver (3625 E. Colfax Ave.) I was in a word, ecstatic. I’ve been going to
Sprouts for years, and missed it when I moved from Texas to the Northeast. I
actually had my father lug their chocolate covered honeycomb to Connecticut
when he was returning from Texas on business (it is really that good). When I
moved to Denver I was sure to seek out the closest Sprouts, but it was a ways
away and with another (regular) supermarket within walking distance, I didn’t
make the trek as often as I should have. But with the new Sprouts location
right around the corner from me, and convenient for all those doing their
shopping in downtown, I wont be (accidentally) throwing those super sugary
breakfast cereals into my cart any longer.
I was lucky enough to attend the Sprouts Denver Preview Party yesterday and get a sneak peak at all the amazing features (and delicious food) of the new Denver location. . And because words really don’t do the beauty of gorgeous foods justice, explore the new Sprouts Denver in photos!
Produce for days! One of the most striking aspects of any Sprouts store is the incredible variety of fresh, ripe produce. These fresh fruits smelled divine!
Veggies are kept fresh by being misted with water in their refrigerated cases.
There are a ton of super quick, delicious to-go meal options for every diet type available in the Delicatessen section. Everything from tofu to racks of ribs!
The Sprouts meat counter was full of fresh meats, some already seasoned. The skirt steak pinwheels filled with spinach and provolone, or asparagus and jack cheese are a great gourmet-tasting dinner option that you just need to sear on each side then bake!
Bulk bins are a huge feature in any Sprouts store. They make it easy to pick up any amount of hundreds of bulk items. They have whole organic sections and even pink Himalayan salt in bulk!
Healthier sweets are always something on my list when I head to Sprouts. They have a healthier version of tons of different candy items, from chocolate to naturally flavored gummi bears (which I have never left a Sprouts without. Whoops.)
Fresh food and groceries aren't the only wonderful thing about Sprouts Farmers Market. One of the darling employees, Terry, brought me over to the beauty counter which he said "was his favorite place in the store." They have everything from phalate free nail polishes to natural makeup brushes and everything in between. You can find the makeup counter in the extensive healthy supplement and vitamins section of the store!
"There is something about the aesthetics of beauty that is so important" says Mary, another sweetheart of an employee that showed me around the store's rather extensive floral department. With huge bunches of sunflowers for five dollars and culinary herbs at three pots for ten dollars, the floral department is both gorgeous and inexpensive!
And you can't forget miss Tinkerbelle! Sprouts has quite a variety of organic and all natural pet food and treats, perfect for the health conscious pet owner.
The darlings at Sprouts sent me home with a bag of a selection of Sprouts goodies. With tons of Sprouts-branded products, can always be sure to find a great value. (P.s. the Vannila Sandwich Cream Cookies, should have stayed at the store! I may have eaten and entire sleeve. Last night.)
