Hello Darlings!
I cannot believe that it is already November! Where on earth
did October go? I thought I might send October off with a few pictures as I had
the girls in my yoga teacher training program over for a fun potluck dinner and
to decorate some Halloween cookies (cheesy, I know).
We started out with an appetizer spread (I may have gone a
bit overboard for six girls) with six types of cheese, lots of crackers, almond
butter, persimmon, apples, shrimp, a variety of pickled veggies that I canned
last summer, and of course a couple bottles of wine!
For the soup course we had this amazing Kale and Roasted
Vegetable Soup recipe one of the girls made from Simply Recipes.

I somehow forgot to take a picture of the flexitarian
lasagna that another of the girls brought, but I am going to bug her into
either teaching me the recipe or doing a guest post!
And, of course, the cookies! We had so much fun baking and
decorating!
