The first weekend in June I popped over to gorgeous Park City, Utah to attend the Blend Retreat! (Blend= blogger + friend) I absolutely adored getting to see some of my favorite blogging friends- some for the first time!
I am still dreaming about these Nuttzo filled Healthy Bites the lovely Lindsay from Cotter Crunch was handing out after our Onnit bootcamp! I’m fairly certain I could live on these!
We headed to breakfast sponsored by Quest Nutrition that was an array of fresh fruit, potatoes, eggs, sausage, sneaky little sugary pastries, and a delicious treat made from a baked quest bar!
Snack break was sponsored by Kids Shake, chock full of protein with protein balls and shakes. I was a bit wary of the idea of giving protein shakes to kids- but the ingredients and nutritional information looked great, so I warmed up to it as a supplement rather than a meal replacement.
That evening I headed out to the High West whiskey distillery for pre-dinner drinks (and a cheeky little meat board for me). I loved the lavender-infused whiskey cocktail I sipped on so much I’m posting a copy-cat-esque recipe for this Friday’s Summer Drink Series post!
Dinner at Purple Sage was great- it was down-home southern cooking with a high-end twist! I love heading to out with Heather and Laura because we love to share bites- and this time we were joined by the pancake queen Heather, Melissa, Madelyn, and lots of other lovely ladies! (I’ll be linking to everyone in a future post!)
For dessert there was lavender crème brulee -which was devoured before I even thought to take a picture! I can’t wait to see lots of my blends for my birthday and Heather’s bikini show in July!
