Life is crazy. True statement. And sometimes, making the time to fit your practice into your daily schedule can be difficult. Fighting your way through traffic to head to the yoga studio, the gym, or even the park can shave off precious minutes of your ‘me’ time so why not just walk from your bedroom to your favorite device?
YogaDownload.com lets you do just that! I’m partial to practicing using my laptop when I practice at home because of its portability, but any device that is compatible with .MP4s will do. You have option of streaming classes or downloading them to your device so you don’t need to be connected to wifi to practice!
But the ease of use isn’t Yoga Download’s best feature- it is the classes themselves. Lead by incredible teachers, many of whom are world renowned, the classes are informative, fun, and can either kick your butt or calm you down. As a yoga instructor I thrive on variety. I tend to think of the way I teach as coming from a very restorative background, but every once in a while I love to take a ‘oh-my-goodness-I-am-dying’ class! One of my favorite teachers (featured in the YouTube above) is Roger Pressman. He was actually one of the lead instructors in my 200 hour teacher training, and I learned a wealth of information from him. He is based in a super alignment-conscious practice which is great for someone hypermobile like me!

I’m loving the ability to access classes from all types of yoga from Roger’s alignment to Shiva Rae’s incredibly sensual flow. I recommend downloading a number of classes to have on hand and picking one to practice based on your mood! If you’re feeling exhausted grab a restorative class, ready to rock? Take a power class! There is absolutely something for everyone from the super beginner to the most advanced!
