Now, I know I’m not in Georgia but I still think that the smell of peaches is summer’s perfume. Fresh, sweet, not too overpowering, it blends well with an incredible amount of things and yet is still perfect on its own. Its well documented here on Chickadee Says that lavender is one of my favorite flowers and my favorite flavors (if you follow me on Instagram you might notice I have a slight obsession with lavender kombucha) so, the combination of peaches and lavender, to me, is heaven. Add a bit of vodka, and you’ve got a party I most definitely want to attend.
With seltzer water and smooth vodka the peach and lavender flavors shine. You can’t go wrong with this simple recipe with four ingredients and four steps. Perfect for entertaining, enjoy this craft cocktail during picnics or a summertime dinner table on the patio!
Ingredients:
- 4 Ounces Vodka
- 2 Ounces Lavender Simple Syrup (recipe here)
- ½ One Ripe Peach, cut into chunks
- Seltzer Water
Instructions:
1. Add peach pieces and lavender syrup to a cocktail shaker. Mash well.
3. Pour over ice.
4. Top with seltzer water then garnish with peach slices and a few lavender flowers.
5. Enjoy!
