Being Twenty-Six I feel like every time I scroll down my
Facebook feed I spot another engagement, and another wedding hashtag so you can
follow the images that are posted on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. I know
from experience that trying to save all of the pictures so that they are in a
central location and available for everyone to use is a huge hassle. Insert
Seahorse.
The super simple Seahorse app is the solution to this hassle. Available on IOS and Android, the free app is super easy to use and allows the user to create “scenes” to share with their friends. Through email you can invite additional users to upload photos to your created scene so everyone can have access to every photo of an event. So long are the frustrations of asking everyone to email their pictures or upload to separate hosting accounts, Seahorse has everything streamlined!
I think the easiest way to explain how truly simple the
signup process is, is to show you a bit of step by step (of course there are
Tinkerbelle pictures involved) of how the process of signup to uploading
progresses!
I started by downloading the app onto my iPhone and then
signing up with email. You get a confirmation email and then you are ready to
go!
Next you can sync the app with your phone’s photo library,
or take a picture using the app. If
uploading pictures from syncing your phone’s library you can click through and
select which photos to include in your scene. Give the scene a name and you’re
ready to go! Adding friends is simple, there’s an add friends option in the app
and it syncs with your email contacts. Click which friends you’d like to share
it with and then click okay. Your request will show as pending until the friend
signs up with Seahorse and has access to the pictures.
If you happen to take lots of photos that aren’t on your
phone’s camera (as a blogger my DSLR comes with me everywhere!) there is a
super simple way to upload pictures to the app from your computer as well. You
can sign in at Seahorse.co and then just drag, drop, and click upload!
Overall, I have loved this app and the fact that it is so convenient
