Hello Darlings!
When it comes to Tink I am that dog mom. The silly little creature is quite spoiled (to the point that is Tink up there in my header!) and so of course I had to do something special for her birthday!

Staying Healthy This Spring: My Morning Routine with Insync Natural Probiotic
I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its advertiser. This post is not a healthcare professional’s opinion. All opinions are my own.
Hello Darlings!I am not a morning person. I grumble if I have to get out of bed before eight- even with a very cute pup jumping on me to get up! So when it comes to getting ready I really have to follow a routine or I’ll be running out the door (and then back in at least three times to get things I forgot) in a rush, totally scatterbrained. Enter: a natural probiotic.

Cookbook Love: Superfoods for Life, Coconut
Hello Darlings!
Now I am the first to admit I am not a huge fan of the taste of coconut. I use coconut oil constantly and love to rehydrate with coconut water (pineapple flavored please!) but I’ve always shied away from using actual coconut flakes. However I attended an event at Natural Grocers recently and walked away with a goodie bag filled with bulk foods including a giant bag of coconut flakes that I had no idea what to do with. Enter the Superfoods for Life, Coconut cookbook by Megan Roosevelt, R.D. L.D.

Hello Darlings!
Happy Easter! I’m back for round three of Chickadee’s Cache with lots of links I’ve been loving this week. From x-ray videos to marinated mushrooms there is something for everyone! Not sure what was happening this week, but there are so many articles I really enjoyed for This Week in Wellness! Apparently it was a week of ‘let’s get healthy’!

Newmans Own: Snack Organic (and Giveaway!)
Hello Darlings!
Newman’s Own Organics spoiled me. As well as sending a box of treats to little miss Tinkerbelle (treat my dog nicely and you’re automatically on my good side) they sent along a giant box of treats for me! I am a snacker with a giant sweet tooth, however I try to keep my sweets as organic and additive free as possible. Enter Newman’s Own with organic everything under the sun- yes, please! For the past few weeks I have been making my way through my organic sweets stash, picking out my favorites, and sharing the goodies with everyone who has come to visit.

Holistic Allergy Remedies
Hello Darlings!
I adore spring. The trees start to bud, the flowers bloom, baby animals abound- life is renewing. However, with all of the new growth comes pollen and other allergens which can wreck havoc on your body. To combat the sniffles and other allergy symptoms when they come and to help prevent allergic reactions, I turn to a number of holistic remedies that can be found at your local supermarket or health foods store!

Meatless Monday: Raspberry-Mint White Chocolate Bark
Hello Darlings!
My sweet tooth knows no bounds- and with Easter just around the corner I am being barraged with pastel colored candy on every end cap and so my sweet tooth is craving sugar. Badly.
So instead of breaking the bank with expensive Easter candy (I’ll wait for the 50% off sales, thank you) I made my own! With just a bag or two of white chocolate chips and organic produce you can satisfy the sweet tooth without all the fillers!

been loving! I am so glad that lots of you really enjoyed last week’s roundup. With spring on it way I’ve been super excited to peruse all the healthy living

Post-Yoga Products: Ora’s Amazing Herbal
Hello Darlings!
I am constantly running around popping from yoga class to yoga class attempting to feel fresh with each new set of faces, which is rather difficult as I often am running bouncing around like a bunny, or prowling like a tiger with the kiddos! When I found Ora’s Amazing Herbal I knew I wanted to try samples right away.

Experiments in All Natural Easter Egg Dyeing
Hello Darlings!
I’m not generally an egg person (cue #YolkPorn addict shocked faces) I’ll have them scrambled but there is something about the texture that just doesn’t agree with me. However, that dislike of eggs gets chucked out the window around Easter. I love coloring eggs! From the crazy tie-dye eggs to eggs covered in wax then dipped I’ve done it all; so this year I thought I would experiment with dying eggs from things I had on hand in my kitchen. I got mixed results but some of the egg dyes worked wonders, gorgeous colors without all the chemicals!

Recipe Makeover: Baked Cheese Sticks
Hello Darlings!
I am generally a healthy eater. I love my veggies, fruits, and whole grains, but every once in a while I crave something completely and incredibly unhealthy. And while I definitely abide by the 80-20 rule, that 80 percent of your diet should be clean, consisting of whole, unprocessed foods, and that 20 percent of your diet can be a bit of indulgence, I still don’t want to put a meal chock full of grease in my system. What is a healthy girl to do?!

Tinkerbelle Reviews: Newman’s Own Organics for Pets (Giveaway!)
Hello Darlings!
I am completely obsessed with my Samoyed Tinkerbelle (note the smiling face in my blog’s header) and as such believe that all of our fur babies deserve the same healthy food and treats that we feed ourselves. So when Newman’s Own Organics reached out and offered a package of goodies for both humans (more on that next week!) and little miss Tinkerbelle, I was excited for Tink to try the all organic line of treats and food!

Holistic Sleep Remedies
Hello Darlings!
I am not a very happy camper when I’m not sleeping well. I can get ornery and short, loose focus easily, and it seems like my brain is firing slower. All in all I’m off my game. So I make it a point to try to fall asleep quickly when I can and when I’m anxious or restless I try to get myself ready for bed with intention and purpose, incorporating holistic techniques to de-stress me body for sleep.

Meatless Monday: Vegan Rosemary-Olive French Bread
Hello Darlings!
I am incredibly fortunate to have wonderful friends who are just as passionate as health and wellness as I am. One of those friends (who really should have a blog but doesn’t- you know who you are!) met the Olea Estates folks at a Slow Food conference and said that we should get in touch, and I am so excited that we did!

Chickadee’s Cache: Links I Love
Hello Darlings!
As a blogger you spend an incredible amount of time online. From researching to writing, to getting lost on StumbleUpon, you can come across an amazing assortment of pictures, articles, recipes, and everything else under the sun!
I’ve decided to curate a collection of my favorite tidbits from online (my internet ‘cache’ look at me being punny) and share them here! I hope you enjoy and I would LOVE if you added one of your favorite links in the comments (even/especially if it is one of your own!) I might just have to include it in my next round up!

Cookbook Love: Superfoods for Life, Chia
Hello Darlings!
I love books, in any way shape or form. In my very small
apartment there is a very large bookcase chock full of all kinds of books from
ridiculous romance novels (give me a cowboy/prairie story any day) to
gorgeously bound books of Shakespeare, to foreign language novels I’ve picked
up on my travels just because they have that ‘old book’ smell I love so much.
And I have a very special place in my heart for cookbooks. I ADORE them, if
they could think they would probably hate me though because I am the messiest
cook on the planet and they constantly get covered in food (ask my poor canning
cookbook- the number of different kinds of berries mashed into its pages is
just silly.)

Bringing Yoga to Joshua Station
Hello Darlings!
Yoga can be incredibly therapeutic. It can help with everything from stress, to depression, to control issues and so much more. Its gives you the ability to take some time for yourself, dive inward, fight demons and better your body from the outside in and the inside out. It has been proven as useful in recovery from your darkest days whatever they might be. The lovely ladies from my yoga teacher training program and I had the incredible opportunity to bring yoga to a group of families that are in the middle of a transitional period in their lives. They are all residents at Joshua Station and are working their way from homelessness to an independent, healthy, and stable living situation.

Yoga Poses for Sleep
Hello Darlings!
Lately I’ve had an insane amount of work on my hands, which is both a blessing and a curse. I’ve got my ‘big kid’ job and now five (seriously five!! So excited!) yoga classes I’m teaching, and my little space on the internet here that you just happen to be reading! Each day in my planner is ridiculously multicolored and I even have a note on my to-do list each day: GO TO SLEEP. Which, quite frankly, is easier said than done as I’m the kind of person that when I finally settle in under the covers my mind wants to do everything but sleep.

What I Ate Wednesday: Skinny Limits Juice Cleanse
Hello Darlings!
So, ‘ate’ might be a bit of a stretch here in terms of What
I Ate Wednesday, but I was fortunate enough to receive a Three Day Skinny Limits Juice Cleanse for review, which in my mind is SO much better! The 18
juice cleanse (six 16-ounce juices a day for three days) is an incredible way
to jumpstart your spring detox, ridding your body of toxins built up over the
rather lethargic winter season.

Camp Gratitude: Kids Yoga Guide Summer Camps (Denver)
Hello Darlings!
One of the great joys in life is to be able to witness a child’s eyes sparkle and a smile spread across their face when they learn something new. I love that teaching children’s yoga allows me to witness this little miracle every week! From learning a Sanskrit word or a breathing technique, to finding the ability to balance on one foot kids find joy in learning, especially when that learning feels like play!
