I’m Kait and my ridiculously fluffy Samoyed sidekick’s name
is Tinkerbelle- Tink for short! I’m a 20-something healthy living enthusiast
and an East Coast transplant living in Denver and loving it.
I’m a lifelong athlete. I started playing soccer as a
toddler and picked up sprinting on the track team in middle school. I rose
through the ranks (my poor parents had to drag all three of us kids across the
country [and world] for each of travel teams) and eventually ended up sprinting
at Boston College. I love the gym and the track, but still am
apprehensive about long distance running, which is something I am working on!
I have also been a yoga lover all my life; my mother started
me an infant, and I’ve kept up a home practice ever since. I decided to pursue that passion on a more professional level and now am a certified yoga instructor with specialties in prenatal, postnatal, children, and restorative.
I’m not just a fitness addict! I am also a huge foodie. I
love to eat, cook, and may have an absurdly large collection of kitchen goodies-
I just can’t pass up a fun salt and pepper set! When it comes to my eating
habits I would consider myself a flexitarian. I follow a mostly plant-based
diet but add in sustainably raised meat, fish, and eggs. I love the idea of
Meatless Mondays and create either a vegetarian or vegan recipe for it each week! Baking is another of my passions, and it’s taken quite a while to get
used to baking at altitude, but I really won’t complain about extra-large
cupcakes!
