Summer Nights with K.M. Hutton

Hello Darlings!

If you’ve been reading Chickadee Says for a while, you might know that I’m not a huge ‘fashion’ blogger. I am a yoga instructor, which means I pretty much live in yoga pants. But when the opportunity to review an amazing handmade clutch that I practically salivated over came around I knew I just had to share! So, a very rare glimpse into the ‘I’m-not-wearing-workout-clothes-for-once’ Kait’s summer night wardrobe!

I have made a conscious choice to put a bit more effort into my look this summer.  I have a closet full of gorgeous clothes and a jewelry box that tends to stay closed- mainly because I’m lazy and throw on a t-shirt and cutoffs and call it a day. The handmade (how cool is that!) Cream Linen and Brown Leather Fold Over Clutch from K.M. Hutton is so gorgeous that I just had to amp up my style and create a look that showcased its beautiful lines and details!

The clutch, handcrafted in leather and linen, is sturdy and structured without feeling stiff. The fold-over style with magnetic closure keeps its contents in place, and there can be quite a bit of them! When I think ‘clutch’ I think an almost too-small bag that requires a bit of maneuvering to fit everything I need for the night- not the case with this k.m. hutton bag! Wallet, keys, sunglasses case (yay summer sun until 9pm!) phone, and my go-to YSL Volupte Sheer Candy all fit with room to spare!

The clutch is perfectly dainty but still has a bit of an edge with its leather and gold hardware- a combination of flirty and military perfect for a tomboy like me. It also allows it to be dressed up or dressed down- I, very obviously, decided to go for the latter, but chuck on a pair of cute wedges and you’re good to go!
